B4 Behavioral Health
B4 Behavioral Health is a telemedicine based medication management psychiatric practice for patients ages 5-64. The basis of B4 stems from these four words; believe, balance, breathe, begin. Additionally, the philosophy of B4 centers on early identification and intervention. Similar to any medical problem, mental health problems need early intervention which includes evaluation, testing, diagnosis and then management. Evaluation is done by interview and gathering information. This information may include forms, lab work, sleep studies and other modalities. Mental health care is multifaceted and I strive to provide the best patient centered care available.

I have always known that healthcare is where I wanted to be. From my teenage years watching my friends mother care for her patients, seeing her interact with them and their response to her I just knew. I started as a mental health worker in an institutional setting and learned more than I ever thought. Developmental disabled patients who also had mental illness was where I started. Learning how to see things that people couldn’t say…. Realizing the trauma these people had been through…. Learning about medication and therapies was a unique experience. My patients taught me so much and still do. My career has spanned over 35 years in various settings but has always come back to mental health. I am certified in both family medicine and psychiatric mental health as a nurse practitioner and bring both into my practice. Making sure medical issues are addressed is as important as mental health issues I believe in treating the whole person and will continue to use all of my knowledge and experience in my practice. Your journey is important to me and no two people are the same.
